Auction Base – Barrique nr. 9

Galloni’s Opinion

With barrel number nine, we immediately sense the intensity typical of the south-facing slope: the fruit is rich, deep, ripe and highly concentrated. Visually, the colour is slightly darker and denser. On the palate, this wine shows power, considerable mid-palate richness and solid structure. This is another wine that has great potential. It is, of course, still very young and still coming together, but it perfectly embodies the archetype of Barolo from a warm, perfectly south-facing site. It is a wine of great impact and with a very promising future.
