We’re moving on to barrel number 11. This is the third barrel in this flight of four wines from mid slope parcels. This is sort of the cousin to wine number ten. It has really beautiful fruit intensity, the mid-weight structure of all these wines, maybe not quite as virile as wine number ten, a little bit softer, a little bit friendlier. I would imagine it’s going to mature maybe a little bit earlier too. But today there’s just a feeling of harmony in this wine that really stands out next to some of the other wines in the tasting before and after. And I really admire the balance in this wine.
