We’re moving on to barrel number two from the old vines. So here immediately the wine is darker, a little bit richer, and a little bit more filled out. You can tell by the slightly darker tonality of colour, so not a surprise in the tasting. This is a nice progression from barrel number one. Again, slightly darker, kind of red cherry notes, dried flowers, tobacco, incense, a kick of blood orange that is typical in these wines from rainier cooler years. And there’s this really nice balance in this wine.
