We’re moving on to our fourth and final flight of these 2024 Barolos from the Gustava Vineyard. We’re back again to wines that showcase the more ethereal and finesse side of the vintage, typical of all these wines, but in this flight it’s particularly accentuated. Wine number 13 has really beautiful aromatics, good Nebbiolo energy, all in that lithe, slender style that is such a signature of 2024. What you should expect are wines built on grace and restraint, more than size and power. That’s the beauty of Nebbiolo: its ability to capture the essence of a vintage in a place. And that’s one of the signatures of this wine, as it is with the entire collection.
